Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the IMCU/PCU, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op clinical scenarios
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status; administer medications; manage ventilator support and related devices (e.g., chronic vents) with RT assistance as needed; perform frequent rounds and respond to patient changes
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team; participate in care planning and discharge planning; communicate changes in condition promptly
- Utilize EPIC EMR for charting, orders, and care plans; ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Float to related units as needed to support patient care; maintain patient and family education on treatment plans and safety
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements; respond to clinical emergencies per hospital protocols

Requirements
- Active New York registered nurse license with Nursys verification
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience (travel or staff) with adult patient population
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting with related devices and monitoring
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at submission
