Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing (SNF experience required) travel assignment in Lake Isabella, California. Start date: 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents under supervision of an RN
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient status
- Chart and communicate patient progress in the electronic medical record; ensure continuity of care
- Supervise CNAs and support staff; delegate tasks as appropriate within scope of practice
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in cross-training in other nursing departments as needed
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; maintain current BLS certification
Requirements
- Active California LVN license (LPN) required
- Must have Skilled Nursing experience; sub-acute experience does not count
- Long-term care experience and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Current BLS certification required; must pass nursing medical test
- English communication skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in a hospital setting
