Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job
Gallup offers a welcoming, close-knit community set against expansive high-desert skies and dramatic landscapes. The location blends cultural heritage with outdoor vitality, giving you daily opportunities to reconnect with nature after rewarding clinical days. You’ll experience a region rich in tradition, art, and community spirit, with convenient access to scenic drives, local eateries, and cultural events. The assignment also opens doors to opportunities across the United States, allowing you to broaden your clinical experiences, work in a range of facilities, and collaborate with new teams while keeping your core OT skills sharp. Whether you’re treating adults in hospital, outpatient clinics, or skilled nursing environments, you’ll gain exposure to varied case mixes and care delivery models, all within a robust support framework designed to make travel feel smooth and rewarding. This mobility enhances your professional profile and deepens your understanding of how occupational therapy can adapt to different settings, populations, and regional practice patterns.
As a COTA on this assignment, you’ll support occupational therapy teams by assisting with patient evaluations, implementing treatment plans, guiding therapeutic activities, and documenting progress. You’ll help patients relearn activities of daily living, adapt environments, and apply compensatory strategies that promote independence. You’ll monitor safety, assist with mobility devices, and collaborate closely with OTs to adjust interventions as needs evolve. This role offers clear pathways for professional growth within the OT specialty, including exposure to neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics, and acute care workflows. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes a signing bonus, housing assistance, and options for extension beyond the initial term. You’ll receive robust support from a dedicated corporate team, including 24/7 assistance while traveling, access to travel-and-stay resources, and on-call clinical guidance to help you navigate any challenge, big or small. The experience will sharpen your assessment skills, enrich your clinical reasoning, and expand your capacity to deliver patient-centered outcomes across multiple care environments.
Our company is built on empowering clinicians to advance their careers within a collaborative, nurturing environment. We invest in ongoing learning, mentorship, and clear pathways to more senior roles within occupational therapy. You’ll join a community that celebrates curiosity, compassion, and accountability, where your contributions are valued and your professional development is prioritized.
