Responsibilities
- Conduct general physical therapy evaluations and provide treatments to improve patient functional abilities
- Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff
- Develop and implement therapy treatment plans, including goals; adjust plans based on patient response
- Coordinate with referring providers and health care team; participate in care conferences; assist with discharge planning and equipment needs
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognoses in accordance with applicable policies
- Deliver patient and family education; create clear home exercise programs; verify understanding through feedback and return demonstrations
- Assist in acquisition and fit of durable medical equipment; maintain clinical space and supplies; participate in committee and in-service activities as assigned

Requirements
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required at time of submission
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Flu vaccination required
- Valid driver's license
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or a qualifying APTEA-approved pathway with 2 years of experience demonstrating Doctorate-level knowledge
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of adult outpatient rehabilitation
