Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start 07/06/2026 for 8 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $1,651–$1,681 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Work in a hospital setting on a 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit with a cardiac population, with potential telemetry beds in the same unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for adult patients in a PCU/IMCU focused on cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and CP
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to abnormal findings or decompensation
- Administer cardiac medications and drips per protocol (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) and adjust care as ordered
- Collaborate with cardiology, critical care, and ancillary teams to develop and update patient care plans; participate in discharge planning as appropriate
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, manage pain, and ensure accurate documentation of assessments, medications, and interventions
- Adhere to unit staffing ratios (1:3–4) and assist with telemetry bed assignments on higher- or lower-acuity patients as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a facility of similar size
- Documented PCU experience with a cardiac population; ability to manage STEMI/NSTEMI presentations
- Experience with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressor management
- Proficiency with telemetry and cardiac monitoring in a PCU/IMCU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts on a 2x3 schedule and maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
- Willingness to work in a travel assignment in the Atlanta, GA area
