Travel Surgical Tech Job

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating field, scrub in, gown and glove, and pass instruments to the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout cases; assist with positioning, draping, suctioning, and instrument handling
- Manage instrument and supply counts; anticipate instrument needs; assist with equipment setup and turnover between cases
- Support the surgical team during trauma-related cases and routine procedures; assist with patient transport and safe transfer as directed
- Document perioperative details as required; communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesia, and circulating staff; participate in handoffs and postoperative cleanup
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of strong overall Level 1 trauma experience; must be listed in work history to reflect this level of trauma exposure, plus strong rating on the skills checklist
- Must load all demographic information, including full SSN and badge-appropriate photo, in the HWL/profile per program requirements
- Ability to work in a high-volume surgical environment and adapt to emergent trauma cases
- Willingness to work a 10-hour day shift four days per week, with on-call, holiday, and weekend responsibilities
