Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
Registered Nurse – CCU in Geneva, NY. This travel - temporary assignment is based in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Start date: 05/11/2026 for an estimated 14 weeks. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Weekly pay: $2,023–$2,230 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. The RN must be cross-trained for multi units (medical/surgical, ICU, and ER) and may float to ICU/ER/med-surg/telemetry as needed. Expect every other weekend and holiday rotations, plus two on-call shifts every four weeks.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for CCU patients, including monitoring hemodynamics, arrhythmias, and telemetry; administer medications and manage safety and comfort
- Embrace cross-unit responsibilities; float to ICU, ER, med-surg, and telemetry as required
- Support ventilated patients and those requiring critical care interventions; respond to deteriorations per ACLS/PALS protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team; participate in rounds and care planning
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes in patient status to the team and families
- Ensure infection control, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies; participate in discharge planning and family education
Requirements
- Licenses: Current New York State RN license
- Education: BSN required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through American Heart Association or RQI) and NIHSS required; Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or critical care units
- Competencies: Ability to work in a fast-paced CCU environment; must be comfortable floating to ICU/ER/med-surg/telemetry as assigned
