Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of CT examinations according to department procedures and protocols.
- Set up imaging equipment and properly position patients for CT procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and provide age-appropriate care throughout imaging services.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative in the utilization of CT equipment to obtain quality diagnostic studies.
- Independently conduct job duties, maintain equipment readiness, and document procedures as required.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, department staff, and patients to ensure accurate exam completion and patient comfort.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with daytime, 10-hour shifts; flexibility to meet department needs.
- Proficient in setting up CT equipment, positioning patients, and performing imaging studies with attention to quality and safety.
- Strong patient-care focus and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills; dependable and cooperative.
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment.
- Licensure and certification requirements as applicable per job notes; compliance with regulatory standards for radiologic practice.
