Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg|Tele Job
Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Tele — Kealakekua, HI. Start date 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,252–$2,300 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This travel assignment involves inpatient medical-surgical and telemetry care with float between two MS/Tele units and MS overflow coverage in ICU and ED, performed during night shifts. EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, floating between two MS/Tele units and covering MS overflow in ICU and ED as needed, primarily during night shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient conditions; perform focused assessments and document findings in EPIC.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and allied staff to develop and implement patient care plans; communicate changes promptly and clearly.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through accurate monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to infection control and privacy policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reconcile MARs, and participate in handoffs and care coordination with the next shift.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (US) and eligibility to practice in Hawaii
- EPIC electronic health record experience
- Ability to float between medical-surgical and telemetry units and to provide MS overflow coverage in ICU/ED as needed
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts (3 nights in a row) and the 72 hours every two weeks schedule
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
