Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered, and position patients for examinations; ensure image quality and proper documentation.
- Provide efficient clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills; mentor staff on technical skills as needed.
- Support pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiovascular studies, including device implantation/removal and ablations.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interventional team to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and maintain procedural workflow.
Requirements
- Experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in a cath lab environment.
- Proficient use of cardiovascular imaging equipment and digital radiography systems.
- Strong clinical and critical-thinking abilities with excellent patient positioning and imaging technique.
- Ability to mentor staff and contribute to training and performance improvement.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
- Willingness to work a rotating 4x10 schedule as a travel assignment in the listed location.
