Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, delivering compassionate, patient-centered support.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and document findings.
- Conduct and document comprehensive nursing assessments; develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, recognize early signs of clinical changes, respond to emergencies, and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care; assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Maintain infection control practices, wound care as appropriate, and accurate charting in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Availability to work Eve/night shifts and 40 hours per week
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligible for travel temporary assignment
