Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document outcomes in resident records.
- Monitor residents' condition, perform routine assessments, and report significant changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care as delegated, including wound care and routine hygiene.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including MARs, flow sheets, and care plans in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and communicate with residents' families to support care goals.
- Ensure infection control practices, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3 days per week) in a long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow facility policies, maintain patient safety, and adhere to infection control practices.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
