Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cath Lab for interventional procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI, ensuring room readiness and sterility
- Assist interventional cardiologists with catheter manipulation, equipment handling, and imaging systems (fluoroscopy/X-ray) during procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures; manage hemodynamic data and contrast use while adhering to safety standards
- Ensure strict sterile technique, instrument handling, and proper room turnover between cases
- Document procedure details, codes, and patient identifiers accurately; assist with post-procedure recovery and handoff to the appropriate care team
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or related specialty
- RCIS certification required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab environment and in the specified shift pattern (10-hour days, 4 days per week)
- Eligible for travel assignment in the Cumming, GA area and capable of meeting assignment duration requirements
