Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech, Trenton, New Jersey. This travel - temporary assignment begins 09/21/2026 for an 8-week period with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,810 to $1,897. The shift is 10-hour days (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) with every other weekend and every other holiday required. This role supports an OR/CVOR surgical team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures; assist surgeons and staff as needed
- Provide instrument and equipment support; pass sterile instruments, maintain counts, and ensure patient safety
- Assist with robotics, spine, and total joint procedures; support implant handling and positioning
- Maintain OR readiness, manage room turnover, and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Participate in morning report and be on site early as required; adhere to policy and safety standards
- Comply with BLS and CST certification requirements and hospital OR policies

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR/Surgical Tech
- BLS certification and CST credential required
- Experience with robotics, spine, and total joint procedures
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required
- Ability to work in a hospital OR environment with on-call and rotating schedules
