Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and treatment across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings for adults and geriatrics
- Implement wound care, lymphedema management, gait training, transfers (including Hoyer lift), mobility training, and ADL education
- Deliver pelvic floor therapy and pediatrics care when applicable; participate in ortho, neuro/stroke rehab, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation as needed
- Utilize modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, TENS, and iontophoresis; document patient progress in the electronic charting system (Epic)
- Collaborate with the care team on plan of care, discharge planning, and patient/family education; ensure safe patient handling and transitions
Requirements
- Alaska PT license (compact license must be in hand at submission); BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Ability to work across Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF settings within scope
- First-timers accepted; locals not eligible (permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility)
- Active licensure and clean credentialing; ability to meet pre-start orientations and modules
- Willingness to float between units as needed and to work a 5x8 schedule
