Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision of the nursing leadership
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Monitor resident conditions, document observations, and report changes promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident safety and comfort
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
- Respond to call lights and emergencies, prioritizing resident needs during night shifts
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Jersey
- PCC (Patient Care Technician) experience required
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and maintain alertness overnight
- Availability to work every other weekend and some holidays
- Must be able to perform duties in a resident-focused environment and adhere to facility policies
