Registered Nurse for Long-Term Care (LTC) – Travel assignment in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: Weeks (assignment length to be determined). Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy in MAR and dosing, and promptly reporting changes in condition.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on comfort, safety, and functional decline prevention.
- Monitor residents for adverse events, respond to changes, intervene for safety, and coordinate with physicians and families as needed.
- Maintain thorough charting in the electronic medical record, uphold infection prevention protocols, and support falls prevention and wound care initiatives.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (ASN/ADN or BSN)
- Prior nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work the 2:45 PM–11:00 PM shift and adapt to a travel assignment
- Compliance with relevant regulations and patient privacy (HIPAA-conscious practice)
