Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the patient and family
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to priority setting, patient safety, and discharge planning
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses; document care accurately in the medical record
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team; ensure continuity of care across shifts
Requirements
- Active RN license in the United States (state-specific licensure as required)
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shift schedule
- Proficiency with electronic health records and nursing documentation
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eligibility to work in the United States
