Responsibilities
- Conduct screening and comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress and adjust goals as needed.
- Provide direct therapy to residents and supervise or consult with family members and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate therapy goals into overall care plans and participate in care conferences.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in clinical records and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Promote safe and ethical practice, including infection control, resident safety, and patient-family education.
Requirements
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Ability to work 35 hours per week
- Availability for the 08:00–16:30 shift
- Strong communication and collaboration with residents, families, and the care team
- Eligibility to work in the United States
