Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, under supervision of the RT Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager
- Manage and deliver standard respiratory therapies, ventilator support, airway clearance, and medication administration as appropriate
- Monitor patient status, document interventions, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes and safety in the ICU/critical care setting
- Train RT personnel in the areas of adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care as needed
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and agency guidelines
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent state licensure
- BLS (AHA) certification
- At least 2 years of RRT experience
- Ability to work in a hospital critical care environment and to handle adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient care
- Availability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule with on-call and weekend rotation as required
