Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment to meet patient needs.
- Monitor patient status, document care, and respond to changes in condition to support safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to implement and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California.
- ER nursing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12).
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
