Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 05/04/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $3,104-$3,259 per week with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Shift: 2x4 Nights. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. This assignment requires flexible coverage with unit-specific responsibilities and floating as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the IMCU/PCU with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions
- Monitor patient status, conduct ongoing assessments, administer medications and IVs, and document care
- Manage specialty equipment as needed (temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo) and support chronic vent management with respiratory therapy
- Document in EPIC EMR and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Float to other units as assigned and participate in rapid response as needed
- Adhere to unit protocols, maintain required scrubs color, and uphold infection control standards
Requirements
- Active NY RN license verified through Nursys (with all RN licenses on file)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- RN degree from an accredited nursing program
- EPIC EMR experience; ability to function in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU setting
- RTO request must be included at time of submission
