Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assistance with activities of daily living and routine monitoring
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately per policy
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, respond to adverse events, and report findings to the supervising nurse
- Assist with wound care, conversions, and basic treatments as delegated by nursing leadership
- Support safe transfers and mobility of residents; maintain a clean, safe, and dignified care environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to help develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in Maine (or eligible for licensure in Maine)
- Ability to work the stated schedule: nights, 12-hour shifts, 3x per week
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with a resident-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based, travel assignment
