Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Technologist needed for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. Location: Saranac Lake, New York. Start date: 09/28/2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shifts are nights on a 4x10 schedule (10-hour nights). This role requires NY state licensure, ARRT CT certification, and BLS. Travel eligibility applies with a 75-mile radius local rule and local rate considerations.

Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to perform quality-imaging studies as prescribed by the physician, across patient types and clinical conditions, following established standards and procedures
- Review completed CT studies for image quality and accuracy; communicate discrepancies or needs for additional imaging as appropriate
- Position patients, apply appropriate CT protocols, and adjust exposure parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images while prioritizing patient safety
- Maintain the CT suite and equipment in proper working order; adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control practices
- Document imaging procedures and integrate results into the radiology information system; participate in routine quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging studies

Requirements
- Active New York license to practice radiologic technology
- ARRT CT certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years CT imaging experience; X-ray imaging experience required
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting
- Eligible for travel assignment; 75-mile local radius rule applies with local rate considerations
- Strong attention to detail, patient safety focus, and teamwork
