Responsibilities
- Provide triage services for a high-volume clinic, handling 70–250 patient visits per day and 180–330 triage calls per month
- Support allergy testing and assist a supervising clinician with ENT (oto) procedures
- Document patient care, test results, labs, and medication administration in EPIC
- Review test results and labs, communicate findings to patients, and coordinate follow-up care
- Administer medications as directed and provide patient education and care coordination
- Maintain flexibility to float to other departments as needed to support patient care
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent telephone triage experience and background in medical/surgical care; surgical triage experience preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC for electronic documentation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to manage a high-volume ambulatory/outpatient clinic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; detail-oriented with a patient-first approach
- Willingness to float to other departments as needed
