Travel Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Job
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position in Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States. This travel, temporary assignment starts April 1, 2026 for a 15-week contract. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide safe mobility assistance and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Observe and document resident conditions, report changes to the supervising nurse, and contribute to care plan execution.
- Support nutrition and hydration needs, assist with meal intake, and monitor for swallowing and dietary restrictions as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to call bells and collaborate with the care team to ensure resident comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Active CNA license in New Mexico (in good standing) or as required by state regulations for CNA practice.
- Completion of a CNA training program and certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, follow care plans, and document accurately; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform typical CNA duties (lifing, transferring, repetitive movements) in a long-term care setting.
- Local candidate to Santa Fe, NM area or able to work within local commuting distance.
