Physical Therapist — Travel, Waldorf, MD in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home setting. Start date April 13, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 38 hours per week; weekly pay range $2,542–$2,723 per week; shift 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 5x8 days. Urgent start available.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and mobility optimization
- Reassess progress, document outcomes, and update care plans in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate rehabilitation goals and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate records, ensure patient safety, and adhere to infection control and documentation standards
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and self-management strategies
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent)
- Experience in geriatric rehabilitation or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment and within a travel assignment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
