Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Night shift block: 12x3 (six consecutive nights on, with days off in between as scheduled)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med Surg patients, including post-surgical cases (e.g., abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity)
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform ongoing assessments; escalate changes per protocol
- Manage IV pumps, enteral feeding tubes/Nasogastric tubes, and other routine equipment required for Med Surg care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans; document care in the EMR
- Float as required to other units within scope of practice; uphold patient safety and infection control standards
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff; respond promptly to changes in patient condition and codes as needed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license with verification of all active RN licenses
- Current AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years of Med Surg experience (adult population)
- EMR experience, preferably EPIC
- Valid NURSYS report or ability to provide verification
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced Med Surg environment
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (return-to-office) needs must be included at submission
- Submission should include an up-to-date resume showing 2+ years in Med Surg and any prior travel experience
- Local rate eligibility for candidates within 75 miles (as applicable)
