Travel Registered Nurse CVOR Job
Registered Nurse, CVOR – Kansas City, KS. Travel assignment in a hospital setting. Start 06/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: four 10-hour days. Weekly pay range: $3,078–$3,180 per week. No guaranteed hours. This CVOR role supports perioperative care in cardiovascular procedures, with a focus on scrubbing and circulating during cardiac surgeries in a level 1 trauma center environment. Orientation and credentialing are required prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Serve as both scrub and circulating nurse in the cardiovascular operating room during cardiac procedures
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and accurate instrument/implant counts
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and support anesthesia as needed
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment, implants, and room setup; support turnover between cases
- Document intraoperative events and ensure clear handoff to the postoperative team
Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license; BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
- Demonstrated scrub experience in cardiac surgeries with circulating capability
- Ability to float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed
- Availability to work holidays; weekend rotation as required; on-call approximately 1 weekend per month
- Credentialing to be completed prior to start (credentials due 1 week before start)
- Orientation: new hire orientation on Mondays-Tuesdays before start
