Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in Burlington, Vermont. Travel assignment beginning 08/10/2026 for 4 weeks in an inpatient hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,942 to $2,014 per week. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Shift: 3x12 nights. Responsibilities
- Deliver and monitor respiratory therapies per physician orders, including oxygen, bronchodilators, humidification, and airway clearance techniques
- Operate, adjust, and monitor ventilator support and noninvasive devices as clinically indicated
- Perform airway management tasks such as suctioning and airway clearance; assist with NIV/IPPV as assigned
- Collect and interpret respiratory data, monitor patient response, and document care in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure patient safety and infection control
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license on file at submission; NBRC verification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC verification on file
- Minimum 1 year of RRT experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Must be able to start within the next week; ability to work weekends; inpatient hospital setting experience required
