RN Med Surg Nights, Med Surg, Lewistown, MT, starts 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,905 to $2,000 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights in a Critical Access Hospital on a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide integrated, holistic professional nursing care to Med Surg patients in coordination with the health care team.
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer medications and treatments per orders, and document progress.
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies or clinical deterioration.
- Educate patients and families, promoting active participation in care and enabling attainment of optimum health; support discharge planning and follow-up as appropriate.
- Ensure safety, infection prevention, and adherence to standards; practice in accordance with Montana state nurse practice acts and national professional guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and provide accurate handoffs to oncoming shifts.
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a Med Surg setting
- Competence in providing adult-focused Med Surg care with strong patient- and family-centered communication
- Commitment to professional standards and ongoing professional development
