Responsibilities
- Provide direct emergency nursing care for ED patients across all ages, including triage, assessment, monitoring, IV access, and medication administration
- Perform EKG/12-lead interpretations, dysrhythmia recognition/management, airway support, and basic life support in emergent situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Unit Secretary, Interpretation Services) to coordinate patient care
- Manage patient flow and safety within the ED, including trauma and critical care scenarios, and support stroke and STEMI protocols
- Document care accurately in the Epic electronic chart and participate in shift handoffs and continuous quality improvement activities
- Provide care for psychiatric patients in the dedicated area, following safety and de-escalation protocols

Requirements
- Active Missouri RN license or eligibility; MO accepts submission without license (verify per state)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in an Emergency Department
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Electronic charting experience with Epic (required)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Ability to work nights and meet unit-specific shift and patient-care requirements
