Radiology Technologist Assistant — Radiology specialty, travel assignment in Watertown, New York. Start date 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $3,164 per week to $3,356 per week. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift: 8x5 days (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Work setting: hospital-based radiology department. Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within scope of practice and assigned privileges under supervision of a physician
- Perform patient assessments using age-specific considerations and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist supervising radiologists with radiologic procedures and patient management
- Prepare procedure rooms, manage equipment, and maintain inventory for imaging services
- Educate patients about procedures, obtain informed consent, and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control guidelines; protect PHI
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an approved program acceptable to the New York State Education Department; Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certifications: Current ARRT certification in Radiography; additional certifications in CT, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology (e.g., RRA) are highly desirable
- Licensure/credentials: Current NYS-acceptable credentialing for radiology practice (as applicable per delineation of privileges)
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience: Relevant clinical radiology experience preferred but not required to apply; ability to work in a hospital radiology setting
