Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting per individual care plans and physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; document administration and monitor patient response.
- Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility; maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the care team during handoffs, care planning, and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate charting and follow infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent LPN experience
- LPN licensure in good standing; no additional education required
- Ability to work evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Orientation provided at the start of the assignment
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting
