Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across brain, spine, MSK, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and breast, using established protocols.
- Administer contrast and start peripheral IV access when required; monitor patients for safety and comfort during exams.
- Acquire and review high-quality images; apply diffusion, perfusion, ADC, subtraction, and post-processing techniques (MPR, MIP) as appropriate.
- Operate Siemens Vida 3T and Siemens 1.5T MRI scanners; optimize imaging parameters for patient size and condition.
- Manage charting in EPIC and image management in Sectra; ensure accurate documentation and timely image delivery to radiologists.
- Provide coverage within the department as needed, including weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities; may float within the system to a sister facility within the defined radius.
Requirements
- ARRT certification: MR required; ARRT Advanced Certification noted; BLS required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years MRI experience; travel experience required; first-timers not accepted.
- Licensure: Missouri license or MO compact license (or eligibility); verify licensure status with recruiter; pending state license accepted per policy.
- Practice environment: Ability to work in a small MRI department and collaborate with a calm, supportive radiology team.
