Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, ROM, gait and balance activities, and functional mobility tasks
- Monitor patient progress, document responses, and adjust interventions as directed by the supervising PT
- Assist with activities of daily living and patient education to support rehabilitation goals
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and maintain infection control and equipment safety
- Communicate with the care team to coordinate care and report outcomes and concerns
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Montana, in good standing
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Prior PTA experience preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
