Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and pediatric ED patients, focusing on rapid assessment and stabilization
- Perform triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring; manage airway, breathing, circulation; establish IV access and administer medications as ordered
- Collaborate with ED physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams; participate in trauma activations and code responses as needed
- Document patient status, interventions, and discharge planning with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide patient and family education, ensure safe transitions of care, and coordinate transfers when appropriate
- Maintain situational awareness in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; uphold patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia) or eligibility for licensure in Georgia; strong candidate may have current licensure in a related state per portability rules
- 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN acceptable)
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced Level I trauma center environment; ability to meet credentialing requirements and pass fit-for-duty checks
- Demonstrated ability to document clearly and collaborate with a multidisciplinary ED team
