Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of the registered nurse and in accordance with physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments, document in the medical record, and verify MAR accuracy.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and report changes promptly to the care team.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and restorative care as directed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to update care plans, participate in rounds, and support safety and infection prevention protocols.
- Respond to call lights and maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Local candidate only for this assignment
- Availability to work evenings on a 5x8 schedule with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Ability to commit to an 11-week temporary assignment starting 08/10/2026
- Active LPN licensure in the United States (licensure verification to be completed during hiring)
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
