Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech – travel assignment in a clinic setting, Zanesville, Ohio. Start date: 05/24/2026. Duration: 12 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,599–$1,726 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: Days. This travel assignment requires a highly skilled Surgical Tech with broad experience across ortho, neuro, vascular, and related specialties.

- Clinic setting; travel assignment
- Approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend; 1–2 calls per week; 30-minute response time
- All RTO must be disclosed at submission
Responsibilities
- Prepare the surgical area and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Pass instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies to the surgical team; manage specimen labeling as required
- Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain instrument counts to prevent retained items
- Manage central processing and instrumentation, including setup, turnover, and sterility assurance
- Collaborate with OR staff, anesthesia, and circulating personnel to support efficient case flow
- Document relevant intraoperative details and assist with post-procedure cleanup and instrument reprocessing
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- BLS certification required
- CST certification preferred but not required
- Broad and current OR experience across orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and related cases
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic surgical setting with rotating call responsibilities
- Willingness to travel and commit to 36–40 hours per week; start and end times negotiable
- RTO (time off) requests must be disclosed at submission
