Responsibilities
- Set up MRI equipment and coils, prepare the room, and position patients for MRI procedures.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images by selecting appropriate sequences and adjusting parameters as needed.
- Screen patients for contraindications and ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the examination.
- Perform a variety of MRI procedures with independence, following department procedures and safety guidelines.
- Verify orders, document procedures, and maintain accurate labeling and storage of images for interpretation by the interpreted team.
- Maintain equipment readiness, assist with quality control, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs.
- Ability to independently perform MRI procedures and position patients for imaging.
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and awareness of image quality standards.
- Strong patient communication skills, teamwork, and reliability in an imaging department setting.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and follow department procedures and safety guidelines.
