Travel Physical Therapist Job
Position: Physical Therapist (Travel) in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Start: April 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,968–$2,061 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 flex (typical 8:00–4:30, Monday–Friday). Working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is anticipated for this travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial PT evaluations and develop a Plan of Care tailored to each patient’s goals and functional needs.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and modality use, to improve function and mobility.
- Reassess patient progress, adjust the Plan of Care as needed, and document changes in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and standard professional practices during all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in Minnesota (or eligible for licensure in Minnesota)
- Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred
- Ability to work the stated schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30 with potential flexibility) and to travel for the assignment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team
