Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient condition, implement and update care plans, and monitor outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; coordinate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications, document care accurately, and ensure patient safety.
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and escalate concerns as needed.
- Exercise professional judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in California (or eligible to practice in California as a traveling nurse)
- ADN or BSN degree from an accredited program
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care or telemetry/telemetry-adjacent setting (preferred for Tele assignments)
- BLS certification (or equivalent) required; commitment to maintain certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient hospital setting
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
