Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Plymouth, MA. Travel assignment starting 11/30/2026 for 8 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,525-$2,626. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adults on medical-surgical telemetry, including routine assessments and care planning.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips, and respond to alarms and dysrhythmias per unit protocol.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; monitor for adverse effects and document interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and document in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and family education, assist with transfers, and support discharge planning as appropriate.
- Float to like units and overflow areas as directed to meet staffing needs and maintain patient safety.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Massachusetts) or eligibility to practice per state requirements.
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg Telemetry experience.
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam and onboarding tests (ECG/Tele, medications) with the client-provided process (85% passing; one attempt only).
- Current AHABLS certification; ACLS and BLS required (per notes).
- Willingness to float to related units and overflow areas; ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Demonstrated ongoing professional development and knowledge of critical care pathways; charge nurse experience preferred.
