Position: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in Ultrasound Specialty. Location: Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 08/06/2026. Duration: 6 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,512–$2,548 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: hospital travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography studies in a busy echo lab, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and related ultrasound procedures, with attention to image quality and patient safety.
- Utilize 2D, Doppler, M-mode, and color flow imaging techniques to obtain comprehensive cardiac studies; apply standard protocols and measurements.
- Prepare and annotate studies in the electronic medical record (EPIC) with clear and accurate documentation; ensure timely communication of findings to the interpreting physician.
- Monitor patient status during exams, explain procedures, obtain informed consent when appropriate, and maintain patient comfort and safety throughout testing.
- Collaborate with cardiology colleagues, technologists, and nursing staff; adhere to department protocols, infection control practices, and BLS requirements.
- May float to an outpatient facility as needed and may be required to cover on-call duties.
Requirements
- ARDCS certification (ARDMS or CCI) required
- AHA BLS certification required
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years required
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (equivalency) required
- Ability to work in an adult echo lab serving inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populations; willingness to float to outpatient facility as needed
- Schedule may include Monday through Sunday rotations; no block schedules
