Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures (X-ray, fluoroscopy, and other imaging as credentialed) per physician order
- Position patients, apply shielding, and ensure image quality suitable for interpretation
- Operate radiology equipment, monitor patient condition during procedures, and assist with exam setup
- Maintain radiology records and document procedures in the imaging information system
- Adhere to radiation safety principles and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to deliver timely imaging services
Requirements
- Active ARRT RT(R) certification
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Hospital-based imaging experience preferred
- CT imaging experience preferred (not required)
