Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) needed for a travel - temporary assignment in Tuba City, AZ. Start date: 04/05/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,248–$2,355 per week. Shift: Flex (days/evenings with weekend call) with 24-hour coverage rotation. Setting: Surgical center. This assignment requires active credentials and experience in general/acute hospital settings, with support from a dedicated travel team throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care modalities as ordered, including emergent and routine therapy
- Assess, implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans for respiratory needs
- Administer therapies (oxygen, aerosolized meds, ventilation support) and perform related diagnostics
- Monitor patient responses, document findings, and communicate with the medical team
- Maintain equipment, ensure sterile technique, and uphold safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members; contribute to patient education and care coordination
Requirements
- Associate degree in respiratory care or equivalent education (certificate of completion acceptable)
- Two years of respiratory care experience in a general/acute hospital
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications from the American Heart Association
- Current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license (any US state, territory, or equivalent)
- Current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Ability to work in a rotating schedule including day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays; willingness to participate in on-call coverage
- Fingerprinting/background check clearance prior to start
- COVID and flu exemptions: may be accepted with declination form
