Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists in interventional radiology procedures, including patient positioning, scrubbing, circulating, and maintaining sterile technique
- Operate imaging equipment in the IR suite (Siemens Artis systems: icono, Q, and zee; single-plane functionality) and generate diagnostic-quality images
- Monitor patient status during procedures, document findings, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the intervention
- Prepare and inventory supplies, assist with room setup/cleaning between cases, and support fast room turnover
- Collaborate with the IR team to manage workload across multiple rooms and lines of service, including occasional light neuro/vascular overflow
- Adhere to policy, safety, and infection control practices; participate in unit audits and quality improvement efforts

Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography license and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license; license must be in-hand for submittal
- Experience: 2 years in Interventional Radiology with scrub experience required; 3 years preferred (large hospital experience, peripheral and neurovascular exposure encouraged)
- Proficiency with IR imaging modalities and Siemens IR equipment (Artis series) or demonstrated ability to operate similar systems
- Ability to work the listed schedule (10-hour shifts) and to support a fast-paced, high-volume IR environment
- Willingness to float within IR service lines as needed and to participate in scheduled orientation and credentialing timelines
