Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians
- Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters to obtain diagnostic images
- Prepare equipment and exam rooms; ensure patient safety and appropriate shielding during procedures
- Perform screening procedures; explain procedures to patients and answer questions; monitor safety during exams
- Produce diagnostic images and document exam information; verify exams in the PACS; communicate important findings to the physician
- Support fluoroscopy and C-arm imaging for procedural and surgical imaging needs; assist as required
- Maintain equipment and perform basic quality checks; adhere to safety, infection control, and vaccination policies

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- Licensure: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy: Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Additional state-specific license requirements: CA license (and HI as applicable)
- Other: Current nursing license per the state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting and support daily diagnostic X-ray operations
- Work readiness: Willingness to work day shift Monday–Friday as assigned; able to cover fluoroscopy and procedural imaging needs
