Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Fort Myers, Florida. Start date 01/08/2027 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,051–$2,184. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 12x3. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients in PCU, including post-surgical and high-acuity monitoring
- Monitor patient status (vital signs, telemetry) and respond to changes; administer medications per orders; manage IV therapy and relevant therapies
- Perform frequent rounds, assist with procedures, manage tubes/drains, wound care as assigned
- Document care in Epic EMR; ensure accurate charting; communicate changes to the care team; participate in care planning and handoffs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; coordinate with float requirements and possible assignments to sister campuses
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes; discharge planning and patient education as applicable
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license; FL/Compact privileges with recent Nursys on profile
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Minimum 2 years PCU experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of experience
- Ability to float to sister campuses and work in a hospital PCU environment
