Travel Radiology MRI Tech Job
MRI Technologist travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Radiology specialty focusing on MRI. Start date 05/04/2026 for 11 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,213–$2,307. No guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Operate the GE MRI scanner to perform MR examinations per physician orders
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and help maintain patient comfort and safety
- Position and immobilize patients, monitor during imaging, and manage IV access for contrast as needed
- Administer contrast injections in accordance with injection certification and safety protocols
- Document imaging procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure timely delivery of results
Requirements
- Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
- ARRT certification required; injection certification required
- Two years of MRI experience; GE scanner experience required
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license or willingness to obtain after starting
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform exam-related tasks
